How does fetchpharm work for practices?

1

Check the price

Before you prescribe, see your price against live online prices for the same medicine, and whether matching is still profitable.

2

Match it or write the script

Offer to match and keep the sale, or upload the signed prescription in one click. The owner gets one secure code for the whole script.

3

Stay in the loop

See when the prescription is viewed, redeemed and dispensed. Cancel it if treatment changes, with every step timestamped.

For veterinary practices

How does fetchpharm help my practice keep medicine sales?

By showing your price against live online prices before you prescribe, so you can match when it pays and keep the sale. Owners are going to be told, by law, that medicines may be cheaper online. fetchpharm helps your practice answer that with a price you can stand behind.

Retain sales with confidence. Live online prices against your true cost, per drug. Price-match when it pays and dispense in-practice more often.

Stay in control. Upload written prescriptions to a secure portal, cancel when treatment changes, and follow a complete audit trail. No lost scripts, no prescription fraud.

See the whole prescription cycle. Know where every client is: issued, viewed, redeemed, dispensed. Catch the touchpoints you'd otherwise lose.

Why now: the rules are changing

What do the CMA's changes mean for my practice?

The CMA's March 2026 report on veterinary services requires vets, from March 2027 for larger groups and September 2027 for smaller practices, to tell clients in writing that medicines may be cheaper online, and to issue a written prescription within 48 hours on request. fetchpharm makes both a one-click workflow, not an admin burden.

Questions practices ask us

What is changing for vets in 2027?

Following the CMA's final report (March 2026), from March 2027 for larger groups and September 2027 for smaller practices, vets must tell clients in writing that medicines may be cheaper online, and provide a written prescription within 48 hours of a request. fetchpharm turns both duties into a one-click workflow with a full audit trail.

Will my practice lose medicine sales to online pharmacies?

Not when you can compete. fetchpharm shows live online prices against your own cost for each drug, so you know straight away when a price-match is still profitable. When it isn't, you issue the written prescription and stay in the loop on where it goes.

How does fetchpharm stop prescription fraud?

You upload the signed prescription once and the owner gets one secure code for it. A pharmacy enters that code to see your original script, and each code can only be redeemed once. Paper can be altered, copied or presented twice; a fetchpharm code can't.

Can I cancel a prescription if treatment changes?

Yes. You can cancel a prescription from the vet portal at any time before it is dispensed, and every step it goes through, from issued to redeemed, is timestamped.

Do my clients need an account?

No. Owners compare prices free with no account and no subscription. They only ever see trusted, UK-regulated online pharmacies, ranked by total price including delivery.
